甘薯储藏根形成及其调控机制研究进展

摘 要:

甘薯是世界上重要的粮食作物和经济作物, 在食品、饲料、工业原料等方面有着重要的作用。甘薯储藏根作为最重要的能量储藏器官, 其启始和膨大过程受多方面因素的调控。本文介绍了甘薯根系统的组成和发育过程, 阐述了外界自然环境对甘薯根发育的影响, 从内源性激素及基因表达调控角度分析了甘薯储藏根发育过程中的一系列变化, 归纳总结了影响甘薯储藏根膨大的因素及其可能的内在调控机制, 并展望了今后的研究热点及主要研究方向。

Abstract:

Sweetpotato [Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.] is one of the most important food and economic root crops in the world. It plays an important role in food, animal feed and renewable biomaterial industries. As the most desirable organ for energy storage, the root of sweetpotato is elaborately regulated by various factors during tuberous root initiation and expansion. In this review, we introduce the root system and development process of sweetpotato. We also highlight the recent advances in understanding the regulatory mechanism of storage root development by environmental factors, endogenous hormones and gene regulation. The main research direction and hot topics in near future are also projected.
